World Record Dogs
World record dogs are dogs which … wait for it … hold world records! Inspired by the games in Rio, I’m hunting down the coolest world record dogs, just for you. They all deserve big boxes of Jones Natural Chews for their efforts. And we’re starting with Jiff, a super cute dog who held two records last year.
How adorable is he?!? My brother and I, as kids, were a tad obsessed with the Guinness book of world records. This was way before the internet. We would scour the book looking for records we had a chance of breaking. I’m pretty sure, too, that there was an episode of Happy Days about the Guinness book.
We practiced that trick for weeks. But some records, like the next one, don’t take effort. They just happen. Zeus, a stunning Great Dane, was a dog world record holder a couple of years ago.
Isn’t he so handsome? *swoon* I have a soft spot for Great Danes. Our next pup holds an interesting world record. Check it out.
I was a little panicky watching that. I’ve known people who’ve popped ballons with their teeth and swallowed a piece of balloon, choking on it. My guess is that doesn’t happen to dogs, if this is a thing. And it’s a thing. Last – and you’ll want to turn your speakers down for this one if your own dogs are in the room – the loudest dog in the world.
And you thought your dog had the loudest bark. Maybe it does! Maybe your dog should apply to be a world record holder, yes? Let me know if you do. That would be so cool!
Winner
We’ve been running a giveaway for the Jones Natural Chews Bully N Bacon, a yummy Bully Stick wrapped in a thick layer of pork skin, designed to make dogs happy. And our winner is …
Linda! Congratulations, Linda!
Linda both commented on the blog post, as well as sent out tweets. It was her tweet which won! The majority of our wins, since switching to Rafflecopter, have been tweets, since they really rack up the points the more frequently you tweet using the Rafflecopter. And tomorrow we begin a new giveaway, so get your tweeting fingers ready!
Spreading the good chews …
