Wild Hair? Wild Hare?
That’s the question for this Funny Bone Monday. I’m pretty sure it’s wild hair, but for today’s purposes, we’re going with wild hare. My question for this first guy is, why on earth is his camera on while he’s mowing the grass? Has he run across wildlife before? How many rows did he have to mow before finding this wild hare? And look at its EYES!!!
He did the right thing. As cute as this wild rabbit is, the right thing is not to hug it and squeeze it and call it George, then take it home. The right thing is definitely to walk it a distance away and let it go. I also question why it was so easy to catch. Other than rabbits tend to be most active at dawn and dusk, so maybe it was asleep. Crazy. Next up, a domesticated wild hare.
Don’t hate on whomever kept this rabbit. We don’t know the back story. Could have been badly injured as a baby and the mother left it. Whatever the story, OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE CUTEST THING EVER. I WANT ONE. Except it turns out I’m allergic to rabbits. Dang it. And we won’t tell this lovey about Jones Natural Chews and their Rabbit Jerky for dogs.
Y’all wanna see cute? Check out this itty bitty baby wild hare.
Serious case of the cutes. I want one. Now. Except for the whole allergic thing. And cancer and all. Dang it. Dang cancer! Spoils all my best plans.
Last, a short tutorial on baby wild hares found in the wild. This is excellent. And this is why, strong desire for the cutes aside, we don’t take wild rabbits in the house and keep them.
