What’s better than puppies? Nothing! And what do we give those adorable puppies which make us smile? Why, Jones Natural Chews, naturally! But seriously, when I ask what’s better than puppies, I have a few specific ones in mind. It’s February, and quite a few of you got puppies for Christmas. About now you might not share my enthusiasm for the cute little balls of fur. About now they might be tearing up your shoes and books and stuff. I’m here to save the day! Because PUPPIES! And Jones.
Little Miss Tansy is chewing on a Jones Beef Knee Cap. This particular bone is the perfect chew for a teething puppy. It’s the right size for most puppy mouths. It’s all natural, as are all Jones Natural Chews. It’s from an American cow, as are all Jones Natural Chews (the American part – we have other meats). It’s dipped in liquid smoke and still covered in meaty bits, which makes all puppies smile. It’s a tough, rounded bone, so there’s no splintering. The tough bone makes puppy teeth and gums feel and look great.
Ruby is a puppy, but older and much larger. She loved the Knee Cap, but her strong, powerful jaws broke it into tiny pebbles. Ruby, a German Shepherd mix, is a great candidate for Jones Natural Chews Beef Shank Bone, our sturdiest bone. In fact, Ruby recently saw the emergency vet because she ate her bed. Ruby has powerful jaws – did I mention that? This girl is going places, and I pity the fool that tries to break into her house. She’s a real lover if mama introduces you, but don’t get between her and her people. Fortunately, she’s accepted me as one of her pack. At least while I’m holding the treats. 😉
Tansy, on the other hand, is destined to be a herding dog. She has two older brothers to torment. They take turns stealing each others’ bones, which is only right. And I’m okay with that, since the Beef Knee Cap is appropriate for most size dogs, including Colt, the Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix.
This was Colt’s reaction when he found out I didn’t bring a bone for him.

Now! An update on Jim. I appreciate all your love and concern for my duck. He’s living in the back yard, on the patio, eating crumbles and bird seed. This morning when I let the dogs out, Jimmy greeted me with quacking. He’s done hiding, and has decided he rules the yard once more. Good boy. Jimmy is going to be fine. 🙂
Go give your dog a Jones Natural Chew!
Spreading the good chews …
