This weekend I hung out with two Schnoodles and a Schnauzer, all three girls. Pretty things. All three are rescue dogs of various ages. I brought them Jones Natural Chews, of course – I don’t leave home without them. Meet Lucy, whom the vet thinks is pure Schnauzer, and probably about three years old.

We’ve had people ask if Chewy is part Schnauzer, but people who know Schnauzers always say no. This pretty girl, Lucy, reminds me that he is not. Isn’t that face distinct? Now meet a Schnoodle, Dixie.

Dixie doesn’t have the chops for hard treats, so I was reluctant to give her the Venison Entree Sausage, as it’s a hard baked treat (just venison, rye flour and salt, but hard and easy to snap into small pieces). Dixie had no problem with the Venison. She also had no problem with the Woofer pieces I’d brought along, which is understandable, as they’re just ground beef and crumble nicely for dogs with chewing problems. Jones Natural Chews certainly made Dixie smile. Now let’s meet Gracie.

I enjoyed meeting these pretty girls, and thank my friend for having me over on a Sunday afternoon. Meeting new dogs is always a pleasure. One more photo?

Now! On to business! Have you entered the treat giveaway yet? If not, pop over to this post and leave a comment. You must be a US resident to enter, and you must leave a comment. I always use the random number generator to choose a winner, but I’m open to trying something new if you have suggestions. Let me know in the comments below if you have some brilliant method of choosing a winner. Preferably something easy to photograph, because that’s just more fun. And don’t forget to like our Facebook page! That’s fun, too! And most important of all? GIVE YOUR DOG A JONES NATURAL CHEW. It’ll make ’em smile. Naturally.
Until I write again …
