Spring Fling Dog Treat
We highlight two treats from Jones Natural Chews every month, and this month they’re two of Jones newest treats! We took a look at the Bare Knuckle last week, so today we’ll see what’s in the Spring Fling. Let’s disassemble this yummy disk!
What’s Inside the Spring Fling From Jones Natural Chews?
Two beef Wheezer Sticks – the Wheezer Sticks from Jones are six inch pieces of beef esophagus, a single ingredient treat that’s great for any size dog. As with all of Jones treats, the Wheezer Stick is 100% all natural, and 100% grown and produced in the USA.
One beef Knee Cap – the Knee Cap from Jones is great for most size dogs and still has plenty of meaty bits clinging to it. It’s been dipped in a touch of natural liquid smoke, to enhance the scent and the yum! Knee Caps are super sturdy bones that last practically forever for smaller dogs.
One beef Hoof – the beef Hoof from Jones is a favorite for most dogs. It’s a cow’s toenail, so it’s not bone. This means it doesn’t splinter or damage teeth the way a bone might, and it still benefits the teeth and gums. If you’d like to read more about the Hoof, I recommend this post.
One pork K9 Bacon Roll, 5″ – I have yet to meet a dog which doesn’t love the K9 Bacon Roll from Jones. This is a great single ingredient treat. Small dogs will take a week to consume this tough treat, and larger dogs will chomp it up in a few minutes, smiling the entire time. It’s pig skin, rolled and baked. We get to eat the yummy bacon. Dogs get to eat the yummy skin!
One Pig Ear – speaking of yummy pig skin for dogs, the Pig Ear is a single ingredient treat that makes dogs howl for it. You really want to see your dog smile? Give it a Pig Ear. Seriously. A word? If your dog is small, please only give it five minutes of chewing at a time. By small I mean Maltese, Yorkie, Pomeranian – toy breeds and smaller breeds. Pug, Boston Terrier, Rat Terrier – five minutes of chew time. The Pig Ear is largish. Letting your tiny dog eat the entire thing is like letting a toddler eat a dozen donuts. My Australian Shepherd mixes, at 50+ pounds, eat an entire ear without issue. Just use sound judgment and know your dog.
One Flying Disk – The Jones Natural Chews Flying Disk makes a great toy for dogs! The treats are all nested inside of it. My own dogs don’t play catch, but Chewy has been carrying his disk around the house, gnawing on it. Flash used to play a mean came of fetch the Frisbee, but he’s gotten old and crotchety.
Giveaway
There you have it! The Spring Fling treat bundle from Jones Natural Chews! What’s not to love? It’s listed as being appropriate for small to medium size dogs, but I wouldn’t hesitate to grab this for my Aussies. Well, they’re considered medium. I wouldn’t get this as a gift for a Great Dane, a Newfoundland or a St. Bernard. Their mouths are just too big. They’d swallow the Knee Cap whole. But they’d love the K9 Bacon Roll and the Pig Ear. Know your dog when making treat choices. And always choose Jones Natural Chews. It’ll make your dog smile. Naturally.
