Last week I visited the cutest little Maltipoo. Well, Snowflake is mostly a Maltipoo.

Here’s what Snowflake’s mama has to say about her:
My mother got her for Gracie from a friend. She’s a jacked up Maltipoo. Jack Russell, Maltese, Poodle mix. Her mother was a Jack Russell Maltese mix and her daddy was a tan poodle. She’ll be 6 in July.
Snowflake is a beauty, all of about 20 pounds. She’s an energetic dog, still, at nearly six. We spent awhile playing fetch the ratty tennis ball.

While we were in the backyard with the tennis ball, Snowflake wouldn’t touch a treat. She sniffed, but her focus was entirely on the tennis ball. She’s intense!

Once we went indoors, Snowflake was my new best friend. I heard, like I so often do, “I’ve never seen her do this before! She usually doesn’t warm up to strangers like this!” Most strangers don’t bring bags of Jones Natural Chews. Y’all don’t know the number of times I’ve heard a variation of this. Jones is like magic.

I ran down the treat rules with Snowflake’s mama.
- Treats are like dessert – only a couple at a time, not the whole bag
- Know your dog’s chewing habits – no bones or bits that can be easily swallowed and choke your dog
- Jones Natural Chews are 100% all natural (mostly single ingredient treats), and 100% grown and produced in the USA
- For a small dog like Snowflake, take away larger, fatty treats (like a Pig Ear or twelve inch Windee) after five minutes – too much of a fatty treat is harmful to a dog, like eating an entire cake would be harmful to a human
And what do I gain from my time with Snowflake? A new best friend.

Here’s your personal takeaway, if you choose it – give your dog Jones Natural Chews. You didn’t even need a secret decoder ring to read that. Isn’t that grand? I just gave it to you. Look at sweet Snowflake. Can you tell that she’s smiling? Well she is. Why? Because Jones Natural Chews make dogs smile! Naturally.
Until I write again …
