Happy Funny Bone Monday! Tomorrow is our Jones Natural Chews treat giveaway, and Thursday I’ll be giving away a bag of goodies from BlogPaws, so you’ll want to be popping in this week to participate. If you’re following on FaceCrack and Twitter, you’ll see the giveaways announced. But for today, we have Scoop the Poop Funny Bone Monday! A friend sent this adorable video and I couldn’t resist sharing.
Someone has an encouraging parent and will go far in life! But seriously, scooping your dog’s poop is a big deal. Dog poop is gross and shouldn’t be left in other people’s yard, public walkways, parks and trails. It can contaminate water systems, I’m told. In fact, one city takes it very seriously. Scoop the poop!
There’s a balance here, or there should be, between funny and just plain gross. Why on earth do people post videos of dogs pooping? I mean, just videos of dogs pooping? That’s plain wrong. But to get the point across that we all need to scoop the poop, I’ve scoured the YouTubes in order to find the funniest, without being offensive. Summer is pressing in, and the poop gets stinky, so scoop the poop!
The signage for scoop the poop is pretty funny, too. Check it out.
Y’all, we scoop the poop not just to protect the water, but to be good neighbors. If you’ve ever stepped in dog poop, you get it. If your child has ever come inside coated in poo, you get it. It’s a horrid smell. It’s difficult to clean off. It gets into the crevices of your sneakers. Just scoop the poop already.
And because we want to teach our children while they’re young to scoop the poop, we invent things like this:
I was going to have breakfast, but I think I’ve changed my mind. Have a great Monday, y’all! And give your dog a Jones Natural Chew! Make your dog smile. Naturally.
Until I write again …
