HAVE YOU ENTERED THE GIVEAWAY?! TONIGHT IS THE DEADLINE!
I’m still stuck in This’n’That Thursday mode – that blog hop really worked for me, so I’m going with it. Today I’d like to introduce those of you who don’t know them to the Idaho Pug Ranch gang. Here’s what they have to say about themselves:
Bailey, Hazel & Greta, three spoiled pugs enjoying life in southeast Idaho, Mom’s hobby is obedience/rally training. Bailey & Hazel both have earned titles. Greta is a pug in training and Mom hopes she will be her first agility pug.
Awhile back there was an auction to help Tweedles, a Pug who’d undergone some expensive medical procedures and is recovering well, I’m told. (And no, it wasn’t plastic surgery. What?! Didn’t everyone else ask that question?) Jones donated a big bag of Lamb Lung Puffs for the auction, hoping to help Tweedles’ mama with her expenses. The three adorable Pugs in Idaho were the recipients of the Lamb Lung Puffs and look so happy to have them!
I had no idea the Pug community was so large! Tons of Pugs came out of the woodwork to help Tweedles. I’m waiting on word of whether or not enough was raised to truly help with the costs. If not, I’ll update here later about a link for continued help. Until then, don’t hesitate to track down Lamb Lung Puffs for your dog. They’re dog manna, I kid you not.
On a different note, I entered a contest a few weeks ago myself. Peggy Frezon, of Peggy’s Pet Place, held a giveaway for a bag of California Natural dog food by Natura. And I WON! WOOHOO!!! I’m always tracking Slim Doggy’s posts about dog nutrition and feeling guilty because my dogs get cheap food. They get the best treats in the world, right? But treats are like dessert, so I always feel bad about their main food source, especially now that they no longer have access to chicken and duck poo treats. I needed good food for dogs, STAT.
Natura contacted me immediately, I responded by requesting the senior chicken kibble (my babies will be 12 next month), and it arrived before I could turn around. Speedy delivery! And the dogs love it. They do.
Speaking of speedy delivery, if you’re a praying person, say a prayer for Peggy’s honey? He seems to be past the worst, but he’s still in the hospital and I’m sure they’d love all the prayers they can get. She’s been blogging about it.
You’re still here? Well. We can’t have that. It’s a perfectly good Thursday. Go enter the Jones Natural Chews treat giveaway, why doncha? Your dog will thank you. And smile. Because Jones knows how to make dogs smile.
Until I write again …
