Merciful heavens. I take a TON of photos with my little phone. So why didn’t anyone tell me that there’s a set of tiny lenses available for the iPhone?! I put this on my wishlist on Amazon. (Click the link – you know you want it, too)
Today is This n That Thursday, a blog hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs and Ruckus the Eskie. I love today. Especially today. I have a lot of random photos, but one in particular, a TBT, or Throw Back Thursday photo. Have y’all seen these photos floating around on line? (click link) I want to recreate some of our own family photos. And here’s a fun photo from my college years:

I grew up south of New Orleans and was home on Christmas break. I’m the one on the left, then my sister (mom of the cute baby), and baby brother (who is now teaching microbiology at Harvard, I kid you not – he got all the brains in the family. That’s okay, I got the lion’s share of the humor – I WIN!). Anywho, snow that far south never happens. And the chance of that photo being recreated has the same chance as snow happening in Buras again this year.
Here’s a preview of one of next month’s treats:

I love Bella. She snatched the Pizzle from my hand and disappeared.
A couple of weeks ago, a friend gave me a couple of rabbit pelts. Her family raises Golden Palominos as food, right in the middle of the city! Beautiful, big rabbits with thick, soft fur. The pelts are currently in my freezer, waiting till I have time to figure out how to tan them. This is one of her breeding bunnies:

I’m pretty excited about learning to tan a rabbit pelt. I’m even more excited that my Hunny works with so many hunters who are willing to send all kinds of weird pelts home with him this winter. Predators like coyotes and mountain lions. This should be an interesting winter.
While I was visiting my sister, the cat broke one of my favorite tiny figurines. I don’t have many figurines – this one has sentimental value for a variety of reasons, and it’s not worth much except to me. I’m not too broken up about it – it’s just a ceramic bunny. And the cat is more important. See the cat? I’ll show you the bunny in a sec.

One of my children found a tiny plastic sword that’s been drifting around the house for awhile and transformed the broken bunny.

This really is a random This n That Thursday, isn’t it? Ready for one last photo?

You know you want to share it, now. Go for it. Isn’t that why God created Facebook?
That’s it! Head over to 2 Brown Dawgs or Ruckus the Eskie and say hello! Join the hop! It’s fun!
Until I write again …
