Every month I review two of Jones Natural Chews treats. It’s one of the most fun parts of my job, driving around town, treating my friends’ dogs, taking pictures with my little phone. I love it! I love making dogs smile.
And every month I send Suzy an email asking to be sent the treats for the next month. Getting a box of treats in the mail ROCKS. My dogs can always smell them in the box and they go a little crazy. They’re well-behaved dogs, so this is bursting with excitement for Patches –
Suzy always makes sure I get enough treats to be able to give one to my own dogs. Our box came yesterday, so Flash and Patches were very happy puppies.
I asked Patches what she thinks of the new treats for May (you’ll see them, and I’ll be giving one away, next Tuesday). Patches has always been my talking dog – y’all with Australian Shepherds know what I’m talking about. Aussies talk.
The small to medium size treat really is for smaller dogs. It looks like it would be great for a medium to large size dog, but this is what it looked like after about 15 minutes with Patches.
Yesterday was obviously a good treat day. I could have gone for a human treat, say, a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting, but whatever. It was also a good day all around. My boy, as he sometimes does, brought chickens in the house.
I secretly love when he brings chickens in the house. I do. They’re so freakin’ cute. I was having a conversation with my Hunny and a friend a week or so ago about being the Crazy Chicken Lady, not liking the title, frustrated that people don’t GET having chickens. I was reminded that, before having chickens, I didn’t want the filthy birds that were a lot of work in my backyard. Not until I had them and fell in love.
I fell hard.
Seriously, what’s not to love? I get fresh eggs. I get to play with birds. All the mess is in the backyard. My dogs have a new job to do. The hens eat bugs and mice. It’s awesome! Oh. And this.
So there ya have it. If you like chicken photos, or dog treats, especially if you’d like to win an all natural, 100% made in the USA dog treat, subscribe to this blog. I’ll be holding another giveaway next Tuesday, and the first Tuesday of every month.
And ducks. I forgot the ducks. Subscribe if you like ducks.
Until I write again …
