I love Follow Up Friday! Jodi, at Heart Like a Dog, hosts this blog hop every week, and I’ve been invited to co-host again! Jodi must have a screw loose, asking me to do this again. 😉 But it’s a lot of fun, so you don’t hear me complaining! Let’s jump right in with two weeks of Q&A! Pam, at Words With Wieners, asks:
Love fried things and love ranch (what Okie doesn’t?)
Oh honey – I’m not an Okie. I was born and raised south of New Orleans, which takes my love of fried things (we were discussing fried pickles) to a whole ‘nother level. You have no idea. My hips, they have a lot of ideas.
Blueberry’s Human, almost as an apology for scaring me with Humperdink’s future crazy self, says:
You are used to crazy animals, poultry, kids, right?
Yeeeeeaaaah. Sure I am. Actually, I’m doing the worst possible thing in dog blog land and actively seeking a new home for Humpy. I love him. He’s the cutest thing ever. And I’m allergic to him. My eyes burn and stream every time I touch him or pick him up. And lately he jumps in my lap while I’m working, meaning I’m grabbing for tissues every five minutes. Frustrating. I hate it. But I have a friend who is recently rabbit-less and looking for another one. This one comes already litter trained and neutered. *sigh*
We Live in a Flat asks, regarding Humpy:
That is one cool hat, and what psycho things do rabbits do anyway?
Jump around like CRAZY! Hump the dogs’ faces and my arm. Chase the cat all over the upstairs. Chew on the furniture and all electrical cords. Stuff. But he’s not two yet, so I’m not 100% sure. I think having Humpy neutered made a huge difference, just like it does with dogs. Emma asks:
Who wouldn’t be fixated on your treats!
Um, no dog wouldn’t be fixated on all natural dog treats from Jones. Seriously. They’re that good. Stella Rose, always a cute little stinker, asks:
hey i want to try one of those kneecap thingys…i am getting in the car as I write this,,,,hear me knockin on door?
Stella Rose, I think you took a wrong turn at Albuquerque. I didn’t hear you knockin’ at my door. If I had, my dogs would be playing bitey face with you right now and I’d be handing your mama a knuckle for you to chew on. Oz the Great asks yesterday, concerning Westies:
but did you know originally Westies were the white-colored of my type of Terriers…Cairns?!?
Actually, yes, I did come across that in my reading for the breed. Oz’s mom explains it further:
Those white-colored Cairns took it upon themselves to make themselves their own breed (BOL)…which is why now a Cairn Terrier can NEVER be white…it can be gray, brown, red, tan, black or a brindle of any of those colors but never white. If you’re white then you are a Westie. So silly! *Cairn cuddles* Oz
Thanks, Oz! You’re a wealth of information! I love all terriers, I think. But you and Gizmo are two of my favorites. 🙂 Don’t forget to check out the other blogs in this hop! In fact, join in! The more the merrier. Please, if you’re mentioning other dogs in your post, don’t forget the linky love!! Until I write again … Flea
