Well that’s a cheesy title. But it’s true! Y’all, I forgot to post the winner of last week’s giveaway, so I apologize. Kirby the Dorkie is the winner! He has chosen the Jampacked Jawzers to give his little jaws a workout, as well as to keep his teeth and gums healthy and clean! Congratulations, Kirby! I hope your Jampacked Jawzers makes your smile pretty.

I will have a story to tell y’all on Thursday. A story of tattooes, a nipple ring, a rusty unicycle and chickens. So if you don’t think you’ll remember to come back for the excitement, subscribe to the blog and it will come to your inbox. I’ll give you a smidgen of a preview with a photo of the dog I found as a Jampacked Jawzers recipient, then I’ll tell you more about the Jampacked Jawzers.

Finally! The Jampacked Jawzer! This yummy dog bone is similar to the Bandit’s Bone that I highlighted here a few months ago. It’s a white section of center bone, stuffed with yummy goodness. The difference is the filling. Instead of a simple beef filling, the Jampacked Jawzer is full of chicken and cheese. Let’s see what Jones has to say about this very popular treat:
Jampacked Jawzers is a 4″ all natural white bare bone filled with chicken and cheese. Best for small to medium sized dogs.
What do dogs love about this filled center bone? They love the minutes or hours (depending on your dog’s chewing ability) it takes to get all of the chicken and cheese filling out of this bone. They love gnawing on a clean bone. They love it when mommy fills that empty bone with peanut butter or some other yummy treat. 😉
Let’s walk through treat protocol, shall we?
- Know your dog’s chewing ability. Is your dog an aggressive chewer? Not? My dogs are not.
- Take the bone away if it’s splintering (all bones have a splintering risk), or if it’s small enough for the whole thing to fit in its mouth. This treat is either too small to start off with (the Jampacked Jawzers are for small to medium sized dogs), or has become too small. Time for a new treat!
- Treats are not food – they’re treats. You wouldn’t let your child eat PopTarts and licorice all day, so don’t give your dog treats exclusively. Jones Natural Chews are probably healthier for your dog than PopTarts are for a child, but they’re still treats. Please make sure to feed your dog appropriately and only use JNC bones and treats as a dessert or reward.
- Pay attention to the size of dog recommended on the bone or treat. Jones will usually list the recommended dog size on the treat, as it has with the Jampacked Jawzer. In addition, realize your own dog’s chewing ability and treat accordingly.
Y’all, I have one more photo to share. Part of yesterday’s story involves a chicken. I’m only going to give you a photo today.

Isn’t she a beauty?
Until I write again …
