I’ve been surprised by the feedback on the Windees lately. Evidently many of you didn’t know that the Jones Windees naturally contain high levels of glucosamine and chondroitin, which makes for healthy joints, which makes for healthy dogs.
My own dogs need them. In fact, Jones makes a Windees Ring for smaller dogs with joint problems.
The Windee? Oh, it’s a beef trachea. Being cartilage and connective tissue, the beef trachea is loaded with natural glucosamine and chondroitin. As y’all know, Jones chews are 100% all natural and 100% grown and made in the USA, so this is an amazing supplement for your dog for joint health. And it’s yummy. My dogs go bananas for Windees! At nearly 12 years old, Flash and Patches are healthy dogs with healthy joints.
The beauty of a six or twelve inch Windee is that it’s also a chewing treat, meaning it’s going to be good for dog teeth and gum health, as well. AND (there’s always an and, huh?) the Windee can be stuffed with other treats! Like a mix of banana and yogurt, then frozen. Just don’t try giving the Windee to your dog then taking it back. There won’t be anything left. Dogs love these things.
We don’t recommend stuffing the Windee with dirt. Not so much.
So why did I bring this up today? It’s cold outside. Cold makes joints ache. I thought maybe some of your senior dogs, or pups with hip dysplasia, would appreciate knowing more about a natural source of glucosamine and chondroitin for helping them on the road to being healthy dogs. Joints are great things until they stop working properly. Then they effect everything. If you can’t find the Windees at your local pet store, pop over to Natural Dog Treat Shop and order some. But tell your local pet store that you’d like them to carry the Windees, too. They’re great treats.
Y’all have a great day! And pop over to 2 Brown Dawgs and check out the This’n’That Thursday blog hop!
Until I write again …
