Yes. I’m going to torture you with duckling photos. I can’t help it. Have you seen this wee bitty thing? Hatched and ready for adventure.
Before I go overboard, I must show you who wound up with the balloon hat that Saturday’s dog party clown made just for me. One of the many members of our household has claimed it as his own.
Oh that silly Darth Raver. We call him Darth Raver because his face does way cool things when we put the little strobe light inside his helmet. And turn on some ska or dubstep. You’re just going to have to take my word for it. It’s cool. Geek cool.
Back to the duckling!
I’ve been *squee*ing all over the place this week. I can’t help it. While today isn’t technically, or even remotely, wordless, it’s photo intense. Shoot, most days here are photo intense, But today I give you heart-melting video! (The YouTube link, in case this doesn’t work)
Is that not the cutest little duckling ever? You want more. You know you want more. Another photo? Yes indeedy!
It’s just killing me. As I type, I’m listening to my 15 year old keep Petey in his make shift bath. You know you want to see Petey take a bath. (The YouTube link, in case it doesn’t work here)
Is this what it’s like when one has grandchildren? Y’all better pray that I don’t have grandkids any time soon. I mean, at least Petey will grow up fairly quickly and we’ll move on to dogs. Which *ahem* is what I’m SUPPOSED to be talking about in this space. Tell ya what, how about a chicken shot?
AND A PETEY PHOTO!!!
*sigh* I feel better. Thanks for indulging me. You may now go back to your dull, ordinary day and leave me to my newly hatched duckling play.
Tomorrow? The state fair! We’ll be heading there this afternoon and a good friend has charged me with counting mullets. Her personal best is 37 mullets at a different state fair. You KNOW I’ll be taking pictures. Don’t worry. I’ll share. 😉
Until I write again …
