First! PetsMove and Slim Doggy are hosting a Move Your Mutt-a-Thon! It starts January first. No pressure. I know a lot of you are already good about walking your dogs, getting the exercise that both of you need. But if you’re more like me, you need this swift kick in the butt to get off the couch and get moving! Jones Natural Chews is a sponsor, so I HAVE to get moving for this event. The dogs will love me for it. And I don’t know about you, but I’ve had WAY too many pierogi and kielbasa, so I need the Move Your Mutt-a-Thon! Who’s with me?! If you have qualms about getting your mutt and your butt out of the house in January, pop over to Pamela’s post at Something Wagging This Way Comes today for some great ideas and motivation to keep you and your dog in motion. And here I was thinking of teaching my dogs Sudoku …
Second! I had the bestest visitors last night! Y’all know Dawn at Pet Auto Safety Blog? American Dog Blog? Maya and Pierson’s mom? Here, let me show you:
I KNOW!! How exciting is that?!? And she brought two of my favorite dogs! Pierson!
And Maya!
What fun! It was a second evening of sauerkraut soup, pierogi and kielbasa – oh good heavens, I’m going to need this Move Your Mutt-a-Thon! And Dawn brought her adorable husband, who was gracious enough to eat my food without complaint. 🙂 We thoroughly enjoyed their company.
See? You come through Tulsa and I’ll feed you and treat your dog with all natural, grown and made in the USA treats. Well? What are you waiting for? Stay long enough and we might even walk the dogs. Get off your butt! Come visit already!
Let’s answer a question or two for Follow Up Friday, a blog hop hosted by Jodi at Heart Like a Dog. Emma the GBGV asks, concerning Monday’s dog selfie videos:
Who needs a selfie when I have a mom that constantly snaps my face?
Emma, your mama does an AMAZING job taking your pictures. Amazing. You don’t need selfies. And you sure don’t need to make a duck face. Though it might be kinda cute to see you try.
Jodi, at Heart Like a Dog, asked a question, but I must give you context prior to the question. My bestie left this comment last Friday:
Mine eyes didst betray me when I feasted upon the missives of my prize, for never a sweeter word was uttered. The true reward, your highness, is that you, who hast all the royal makings of a Queen, doth accept my foppish ways and welcome my presence. I am but a lowly servant, ever obsequious and humbled by your friendship. O, I am Fortune’s Fool! My musings have drawn the attention of my master who harkens from the bowels of my prison. I needs make haste and return to the task upon which I set my sights this morning. With cruel tears, I must part from thee, my cherished friend. I bid you farewell and keep mine eyes and hopes set on future missives of all things canine.
Heather loves Shakespeare. Can you tell? And her master is her cruel sister. Shh! Don’t tell her sister that she took a break from work to read my blog. Jodi’s question was this:
Aren’t best friends awesome?
Yes. Yes they are. 🙂
That’s all the time we have, boys and girls!
Until I write again …
