Good morning and happy Funny Bone Monday! I’ll be announcing our winners at the bottom of the post.
Tootsie – do y’all know Tootsie at Bicontinental Dachshund? – suggested I devote a post to llamas. Something to do with baby elephants. 😉 What a great suggestion! So today’s Funny Bone Monday videos are devoted to llamas and dogs. While y’all are watching, I’ll be researching llamas to see if they herbivores, or if maybe they’d sample a Jones chew.
Llamas are curious creatures, yes? This next video – I don’t know. I like the ears, though.
Watching this next video, I’ve come to the conclusion that llamas make other animals uncomfortable. Well, not goats.
There’s no dog in this next one, but … well, y’all just watch.
That llama would totally fit in the back seat of my new-to-me Prius. Oo! And Dawn, at Pet Auto Safety, sent me a seat cover for the back seat of my Prius! Y’all, it’s the coolest thing ever! I’ll be reviewing it later this week. Soft and cushy, waterproof backing, covers the entire back seat – it’s genius. And perfect for llamas! I wonder if my home is zoned for llamas … The moral of the next video is …
Don’t tease a llama.
So what have we learned about llamas? They’re adorably odd looking. They’re bigger than a dog and smaller than an elephant. They seem to be pretty aggressive. They spit. And I probably don’t want one as a pet, even though it would be way cool to ride around town with a llama head sticking out of the back window of the Prius. AND – llamas are herbivores. No Jones Natural Chews for my non-existent pet llama. Poo. I’m sure there are many of you who could tell me much more about llamas. I’m virtually llama illiterate.
Our winners! We had two giveaways running from last week (we’ll have at least one more this week) – the leash or the training DVD, and the vintage dog salt and pepper shakers! The winner of the leash:
or the training DVD:
is Jackie at Pooch Smooches, who has already chosen the leash! Hooray! Congratulations! I’ll need a mailing address, please. Our salt and pepper shaker winner:
is Ann “Paws” Staub of Pawsitively Pets! Congratulations!!! I will need a mailing address, Ann. What fun! Stay tuned tomorrow for a couple of ADORABLE dogs running and hiding a Windee, and devouring Chicken Taffy. Y’all are going to fall in love with these pups.
Until I write again …
