Happy Funny Bone Monday, and if you’re in the US, Happy Labor Day! To celebrate, I’m digging up videos of working dogs, which may not always be funny, but I figure it’s a holiday, so let’s relax and smile today.
This first story highlights the bond between a working dog and its trainer. I love it.
Here it is from the dog’s point of view 🙂
Omigoodness – this next story is the sweetest thing.
I’m thinking these next dogs aren’t coddled, but that they don’t mind, since they’re doing what they love.
How many of you remember this next video from your childhood? I do. It was one of my favorites.
Along with the orange which sang Carmen. And the Alligator King with the rubies.
“You wanna leave a cow dog about half silly.” This next video is great.
One more. Just one more.
What? Working out counts. Right? I love that video!
In other news, Humperdink has gone to his new home. And because it’s Funny Bone Monday, I have to share the story his new mama told me his first night there:

So, you’ll be amused to know, I told the kids how the rabbit likes being scratched on the bum… (There was no rabbit butt scratching tonight… lol. He just thumped his foot at me… like 2-3 times. We’ll bond eventually… ) Anyway, I told the kids that… and they have been playing “rabbit” all evening. Which consists of my daughter scratching my sons rear end and her yelling at him to lick her arm. awesome. lol

Yeah, he’s in the right home. 🙂

How do my dogs feel about Humperdink’s disappearance? Patches says:

Poor Patches. I’m so sorry, darlin’. I loved him, too. He’s cute and sweet and …

Well then. I don’t think there’s anything more to say.
Until I write again …
