Happy Funny Bone Monday! Laughter really is the best medicine, you know, and today I’m in need of good medicine. My lovely daughter, who turned 20 while I was at BlogPaws this weekend, where Jones Natural Chews was a sponsor and gave away copious amounts of treats, gave me the most horrendous cold, which incubated just in time for me to thoroughly enjoy the last day of BlogPaws. My utmost apologies to anyone attending who might have brought it home with them. *achoo*
We’ll talk more about BlogPaws and the fun later in the week. Our big surprise, which some of you guessed, was a cage of wee chicks at our booth!
The chicks were a TON of fun!
Our theme today is graduation. My middle child graduates high school tonight – HOORAH! I find my self reminiscing … about the first day he went to school …
I encouraged my boy, from a young age, to become whatever his heart desired, to work hard at it. I always thought he’d be a dancer, with his long legs. He’s built like Dick VanDyke. Dancing school looks like fun …
Manly shows that anything is possible if you work hard and have great makeup and wardrobe people …
But no. My boy wants to be an engineer. *sigh* Which is good, right? The world needs more engineers.
Evidently more dogs need engineers. And some dogs, like this Border Collie, are ecological engineers.
In the end, though, dog or boy, graduation is the end, as well as a wonderful beginning.
I’m so proud of my boy.
Until I write again …
