Just another Funny Bone Monday. I’m hoping that today doesn’t pack the same punch that last Monday did, as fun as that was. The chicken has finally moved out of my bathroom (Bon Bon is doing well), and I’d like to keep my house to myself and its residents, thankyouverymuch.
Anywho, this being spring and April and all, the April showers have descended. It’s grey and dreary out (I’m grateful for the rain, btw), and all I really want to do is take a nap. At 8:30 in the morning. I’m settling for watching dogs sleep. Watch for the bloodhound about half way through. WANT.
Don’t you just want to HOLD A PUPPY AND SMELL ITS WIDDLE FEET?
Me either.
If that wasn’t enough cute for your Monday, here’s some more.
Outside of that, finding GOOD sleeping dog videos is like finding gold in my backyard. Let’s switch to dogs and animals playing dead!
I love watching the rodents drop dead! Sure hope the dogs were getting some good Jones Natural Chews as reward for dropping dead. 😉
This one made me laugh out loud. Put your coffee down, unless you like the sensation of snorting it through your nose.
Right now I can hear the wheels turning in your head. I can smell the smoke. Wait … no, there’s nothing on fire here. Must be you. You are asking yourself, “But how can I teach MY dog to play dead?” Well. Don’t say I never gave you anything.
Are y’all all familiar with Clark Griswold, the talking dog who loves bacon and can’t have any? His real life mama and daddy have produced a brief video promoting adoption (Clark and his pup sib, Layla, are both adopted). Here it is!
Aren’t they handsome creatures?
Speaking of dogs in need of homes, a friend stopped by Friday afternoon. She’s my friend with the Aussie and new baby. She and her husband live in a small apartment with their dog and three month old baby. And now! With two other dogs!
My friends were at the park and this little guy, Jack, was in horrid shape. Couldn’t just leave him there. He’s actually going home with my friends’ parents this week when they visit. Honey, however, still needs a home.
She was at the same park, looking for someone to live with and love. Isn’t she gorgeous? About a year and a half old, and great with the other dogs, a little shy. Any of my local friends up for adopting this pretty baby? Patches the Pirate believes that someone out there wants to take sweet Honey home to live with them.
Love on your dog! Spread the laughs around! I’ll see y’all tomorrow!
Until I write again …
