Funny Bone Monday 13 – I wondered whether or not to skip 13 and label it 14, but I’m not the superstitious type. For those of you who are, you probably really need a laugh today, so read and watch! Maybe even subscribe! And read to the end, since Casa de Pulga has new residents and you’ll want to see their pictures. 🙂
Our subject today? Lucky dogs! The first video is about a very lucky dog, a heart warming story that will make you smile.
I love that the police station has their very own lap dog/mascot now. That’s an amazing story!
FYI – don’t do a YouTube search for lucky dog. The results are far less than family friendly.
I simply adore this next video.
Aren’t the slow motion dog videos just stunning? The wet dog shaking off is COOL.
If a sweet ride is your thing, this is a lucky dog:
And here, finally, is the sweetest ride, and the luckiest dog of all!
Adorable. 🙂
I promised to introduce you to the newest members of my household, yes? My Hunny was out and about yesterday afternoon and sent a text asking if I’d like babies. He brought home a box full of babies. I call them my little Australian Shepherd babies, at least some of them. Check them out:
I know. I know. It’s killin’ me, the cute. Ten little chicks! The dogs are intensely curious. Bosco, the upstairs cat, has been downstairs since they’ve come home. I think he wants to babysit. I said no.
And how do you name ten chicks? I started by naming the Australian Shepherd merle on the right Jemima. My son came home, took stock of the remaining nine, and immediately named all of them. The little Aussie on the left, with the big bug eyes on its back, is Frodo. The third Aussie is Gandalf. The three sparrows:
are Merry, Pippin and Sam. That leaves the four black pullets (hooray for knowing we have at least four egg layers!). Those are Legolas, Boromir, Aragon and Gimli. I’m sure I’m misspelling half of those. But we have the entire fellowship of the Ring now. Thaniel says Boromir will die, meaning he’ll be a roo and have to be re-homed. Which is insane, since he’s a she. Whatever. Geek speak.
I can tell you right now, this is not going to go over well with Jimmy.
Or Ginger and Mary Ann.
But that’s a worry for another day. Here’s to a happy Monday! Hoping you’re smiling for the rest of the day.
Until I write again …
