Happy Follow Up Friday, everyone! Thanks to Heart Like a Dog for hosting this fun blog hop! Today I answer the questions asked in the comments all week long, and I’m beginning with Sugar, my favorite Golden, who asks:
LOVE to have that toy … is it going to make me Rowdy???
Sugar is talking about Rowdy, the Australian Shepherd puppy, and the toy he was playing with.

Sugar, I’ve seen some of your really cool toys, like Marge Simpson’s head. At your stately age, I’m not sure puppy toys would make you rowdy. I’m guessing a Bully Stick might, though. 😉
Jodi asks:
Oooh, so Ryan is a girl? Hm, I wonder why she won’t fly?
Pretty sure Ryan’s a girl, though I have evidence that Jimmy the Duck loves me best. Don’t ask. (Jackie, stop laughing) And I’m not sure why she won’t fly. Maybe she’s not quite old enough. My husband swore he saw her fly a couple of feet off the the ground this weekend.
Jackie asks:
Loved your limerick! Did you see that Oz said it’s the first time he’s written one for a human??
Y’all, if you haven’t read the limerick that Oz the Terrier wrote for me, then go! Oz writes great limericks! I’m very honored.
Gizmo asks:
Never thought of goose college…wonder what they major in…advanced honking? the geometry of the V-formation?
Hmm. I’ll have to get back to you on that, Gizmo. Research is needed.
Oz the Terrier asks:
I also heard “through the blogvine” that Jones makes rabbit jerky?!?
OMD ! Oz! Have you been talking to Emma? I guess that I’ll have to do a rabbit jerky giveaway in September. In fact, I hear that cats like rabbit jerky, too!
Stella Rose is concerned about Jimmy the Duck and his aggressive nature. She asks:
Oh Flea we would be afreard of that homicidal duck, do they have group homes for him, ????
Stella Rose, it’s called “Duck Soup”. That option is not on the table. At the moment.
Hawk responded to my re-homing the Egyptian chicks:
They say your don’t need roosters to get eggs, but you sure do to get chicks. Maybe a friend would take a rooster?
The Fayoumis are still here, btw. The fellow coming to get them was in an accident on his way here. How horrid is that? So Hawk, I don’t currently have any roosters. And my friends are all city folk, like myself. They can’t have roosters, either. I was just shocked that out of ten baby chicks, only two wound up being roosters. They were re-homed months ago, to good people. Here’s one of the roos as a baby – y’all might remember little Frodo?

I think he looked a lot like Rowdy, the merle Aussie. Here’s one of my favorite videos, little Frodo trying to crow at just about six weeks.
Is that not the cutest thing ever? Turns out the breed is very vocal. It’s the primary reason his sisters are going to new homes today. The are LOUD.
Y’all have a great weekend! Come back Monday morning for funny videos, as well as to find out who wins the Jones chews!
Until I write again …
Flea
