Happy Friday, everyone! Today’s blog hop is sponsored by Jodi at Heart Like a Dog. Y’all go say hi and visit the other bloggers?
Before we jump into the questions, let’s start with lunch with Maggie, at Oh My Dog! We met at Deanie’s in New Orleans for seafood. I’m going to be a bad blogger and show you food photos. Y’all, it’s seafood in Louisiana. What’s not to love? Road trips are the BEST.
But I know you want to see Maggie and say hi.
It seems that we start an awful lot of FUFs with Jimmy questions and today is no exception. Pam, at Words with Wieners, asks:
I LOVE the pic of Jimmy in the pirate hat! OMD, where did you get a hat that size??
Pam, I found this hat at a party supply store. I’m betting that this weekend you can find great post-Halloween sales on small hats and costumes for your doxies. Y’all go nuts.
The next isn’t a question, but a great idea:
Flea you need to get a motorhome and travel around bringing smiles everywhere you go…You could even bring Jimmy on the road with you…You’d draw crowds everywhere you stopped
Oh Beth. You and Gizmo would be great as an on the road show. Two things – pretty sure Jones won’t pay for a motor home for their part time blogger, and there’s no way I’d be driving something as large as a motor home. Otherwise it’s a FANTASTIC idea. If I win the lottery I’ll buy a motor home and hire a chauffeur. Pretty sure Jones would stock it with plenty of treats to give to dogs at every stop, since Jones is generous and wonderful. Just not foolish enough to get me a motor home. 😉 Hmm … I’d probably have to start buying lottery tickets, too. Ain’t gonna happen.
Tenacious Little Terrier asks:
Mr. N hasn’t had any Jones treats yet. Does that make him deprived?
YES. Duh. What a silly question. Okay, I’m not like that teacher in grade school who said that there are no stupid questions. Because seriously? This question answers itself. Mr. N needs Jones treats. I’ll have another giveaway on Tuesday.
Ruckus the Eskie asks, in regards to my typing while holding a baby:
My goodness are you skilled…just typing with one hand and carrying a baby in the other?!
I do try. It helps that I never took typing in high school and have taught myself to type one handed. Shoot, Ruckus – one hand is usually holding the coffee while the other types. And speaking of that baby …
I’m having the best of times here in Baton Rouge. Holding a baby for a week means I’ve got my baby fix for a long time. None of my own children need to marry and procreate any time soon. NONE. Really.
So. I’m going back to holding the baby now. See y’all Monday!
Until I write again …
