Faces of Jones Natural Chews
Y’all, this road trip took it out of me. But along the way I met the faces of Jones Natural Chews. I haven’t quite missed Wordless Wednesday for photos, so y’all have got to meet the beautiful dogs (and some of their people) that I met along the road to and from Orlando. I’ll be brief – promise.
My first stop was in Shreveport, Louisiana. My good friends Skip and Melissa are always kind and generous in having me for lunch or coffee when I’m driving south, and this time I stopped in for coffee. Aw, who am I kidding? I stopped to pet Pierre and stroke Bentley’s long, silky ears! If y’all haven’t visited Barking from the Bayou by now, get your dog butt over and say hello!

As you can see, Pierre and Bentley aren’t the only dogs in the photo collage. Bentley (Basset Hound) is top left, and his brother, Pierre (Westie), is top right. They each enjoyed some Frank n Woofer (perfect for your Fourth of July celebrations – no missing out on hot dogs for your dogs!), and some Wheezer Sticks from Jones Natural Chews. The dog who’s bottom left is Duke, my cousin’s senior Black Lab. Can you see his eyes in the photo? He’s over the moon excited about getting a bite of a Woofer, our current giveaway treat! On the right is his buddy, Copper.
Louisiana Dogs of Jones
The above four dogs are living in northern and central Louisiana. Sweet things, all of them. My other Louisiana cousin, though, recently moved into his very first home and got an adorable Golden Retriever puppy to go with. Oh my gosh. Dannon is a cutie pie, y’all! Say hi to the newest family member!

But who, you ask, is the cute dog which looks just like my Chewy? That, dear friends, is Ralph! Ralph is an Instagram pup known as Ralphenpinscher on IG. Isn’t he the cutest thing ever?!? Y’all look him up and tell him Flea said hi!
Other Dogs Along the Way
This recent road trip took me through Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Arkansas. How much I enjoyed it depended on the day you asked. BlogHer was an interesting conference, to say the least. We’ll talk more about that at a later date. But the most interesting thing about this trip were the dogs! Naturally.

The wee Chihuahua on the left lives in Pontchatoula, Louisiana. She’s a new fan of the Frank n Woofer. That treat is just perfect for every size dog! I broke off tiny pieces for her, and one treat will last her a week or more. The handsome bruisers on the right live in Pensacola, Florida, faces of Jones of an old friend of mine. Deni’s boys are older, huge, and have sweet dispositions. Jack, the top dog, is my new favorite dog.

I know! Those are cats! The Siamese is madly in love with Jones Natural Chews! Our treats are very high in protein – they’re either all meat or mostly meat – which is important for a cat’s diet. This was my last stop in Mississippi on the way home. And look who else I met at my friend’s house!

*SQUEEEE* Right?!? A PUPPY! This little Pit mix is a sweetheart! I nearly smuggled her into my car the next morning when I left.
Giveaway
Brief this wasn’t. I’m not apologizing. The dogs are awfully cute. But thank you for reading to the end. I’ll reward you with a link to our current giveaway! Click this sentence, comment on the new post which will open, then click the box and click I Commented! That’s all you need to do. But you’ll want to do more, like tweet about the giveaway, since it’s usually a tweet which wins! Your dog will thank you if you do. And I thank you for joining me today. 🙂
