Join me in dogsitting by the numbers, will you? First, as wonderful as Chubbs soap is, Max is shedding again. So it doesn’t necessarily stop the shedding, but it does do what a bath does, which is to remove a lot of loose hair and decrease shedding. I think Max is stressed being in a strange home and is throwing his little eyelash fur all over my house and myself just to spite me.

Second, Chewy has been a jealous boy since Max’s arrival. Especially once Max took to sleeping next to me in the bed.

Third, Max is one of *those* dogs. You know the type – he likes laser pointers. We couldn’t find a laser pointer, but Hunny used the light from a window and his phone. Max tried biting the wall and about took off his nose.

Fourth, small dogs will play bitey face in one’s lap if one lets them. True. That’s not a desirable game. In one’s lap.

Fifth, Chewy is not jealous of just my time and attention. I don’t think he’s ever been so glad to see Hunny come home.

Sixth, I get an extra watch dog, and Chewy is extra watchful now. These two crack me up. I still haven’t found a caption I love for this photo. Help me out, will ya?

And that’s dogsitting in a nutshell. Well, along with the giving of treats. Max, along with my dogs, is highly treat motivated. But y’all, it’s tough treating four dogs. They swarm.
