So are you dressing your dog for Halloween this weekend? I’m thinking about it, but Chewy and Gadget hate wearing clothes, especially hats. So, in lieu of my own dogs getting dressed, I’m offering dogs in costumes as our Funny Bone Monday funny video treats today! Plenty of dogs do love dressing up. Here – this is Chewy dressed and angry about it –
Too bad about that. He’s adorable when wearing clothes. He’s cute nekkid, too, though. 😉 Now, let’s look at other people’s dogs in costumes. This first one is my least favorite. WARNING: Majorly creepy
I. HATE. SPIDERS. That’s wrong. It’s just wrong. I’d have been screaming like a little girl. Maybe even passed out. Running full tilt in the opposite direction. Let’s look at some cute dogs in costumes, scrub that nasty dog-sized spider out of our brains.
I feel better now. Most of those dogs didn’t like being dressed, either. The Chihuahua as a tank was hilarious. And if you’re a Dachshund fan, this next video is for you!
*SQUEEEE* Almost makes me want a Dachshund! They’re adorable! Last funny dogs in costumes video –
That reminded me of all the cute dogs I know who look great in costumes. Say hi to a couple, since I’ll be attending BarkWorld next week, and I’m guessing I’ll see some of these same dogs there.
Right quick, an update on Flash. Did I tell y’all about his vertigo? I came home from Dallas last Monday and he was acting funny. Couldn’t walk right. Legs slipping out from under him. Head tilted. Threw up in the middle of the night. I had no idea what was wrong. Initially I was thinking weather, then hip dysplasia. Turns out it was a type of vertigo that older dogs get. They recover from it, taking about two weeks. You bet I got him to the vet ASAP. They put him on steroids and nausea meds. All that to say, he’s doing much better now, walking normally, having gradually improved. But his head is still crooked. I can live with that.
I love these two dogs. I’ll miss them the next couple of weeks while I’m out of town. And I’ll be touching base with all of you while I’m gone, so stay tuned! Especially for the giveaway being announced tomorrow!
Until I write again …
