Dogs are Family
This is a big family week. If you’re like us, dogs are family, too. And you might be traveling with your dog to visit family, or they may be coming to visit you. Thanksgiving is a huge travel week here in the US, and we’re visiting family all over the place, like it or not. Hopefully you’re like me and have a great family to spend this week with. I’ve been on the other side of the fence and have had miserable family experiences for the holidays, but I can safely say that being here in Tulsa, near family, is the best thing ever. And none of my family minds that dogs are family, too. Let’s take a look at some dogs which are great family!
How adorable is that? Almost makes me want a baby. Okay, I lied. Not even close to wanting a baby. But another puppy …
I know, I know! My uterus is contracting RIGHT NOW! SO CUTE. But no. And I can wait for grand kids. I hope. That was awfully cute. See? Dogs are family. And omigoodness – Chewy is already a good and happy dog, but if he had little people?
Our last video is cute, but has a great message. Dogs are more than a gift to make a girlfriend squee, or teach children responsibility (please don’t do that). Dogs are family. They’re a grown up responsibility, with wonderful child-like love. Forever friends.
Quick Update
My apologies for being late with today’s post. I usually have my infusion, then pump installed, on Tuesdays. Because of Thanksgiving (Thursday being the day the pump is usually removed), everything was shifted. Today was my 11th of twelve pump installations, but that’s not even the good news! The good news is my Oxalaplatin, the infusion chemotherapy. The doctor decided, this morning, to cancel that chemo. The bad news is the why of it. My toes, which have been tingling, have become painful when I walk. Balls of my feet, too. That neuropathy may not go away. I’m hoping and praying that it will. It’s not something I’d like to live with. But the OTHER good news is that the cold sensitivity will go away sooner than expected! People! I might be drinking ice water BY CHRISTMAS! I’M SO EXCITED!!! And FROZEN CUSTARD!!! Oh my. This may be a VERY BAD THING. But I’ll keep you all posted as we go along. It’s a grand adventure and I’m the story teller. Isn’t that fun?

Now let me scoot. I need a nap. And my fingers hurt.
Spreading the good chews …
