Dog Caught Eating Trash, FBM 237

August 14, 2017

Dog Caught Eating Trash

Happy Funny Bone Monday! Y’all know I like my themes, and due to recent events in my own home, today’s is dog caught eating trash. I won’t mention the dog by name, since they’re easily embarrassed, and more easily forgiven, but it’s definitely one of my favorite dogs. And what’s so funny about a dog caught eating trash, you ask? Well, it’s funny when it’s not your trash or your dog. Take a look and you’ll see.

Poor Tank. He just wants that thing off his head. I can relate. Don’t ask why. We don’t talk about that episode. And while Tank’s guilt is hilarious, can you imagine being an only dog, having no one else to blame?

Sweet Pancake can’t hide from the blame. Then there’s Samson. The next video is rated G, for Garbage.

And because I don’t want to give you a problem without a solution, our last two videos are about training your dog not to get into the trash.

Two completely different methods, depending on your training philosophy and energy. I like them both.

Giveaways

That’s right – two giveaways! My preferred method for keeping dogs out of the trash is to give them something scrumptious to eat. If you’re a fan of Cesar Milan, he says that dogs eat trash because they’re bored, that dogs need a job to do. I can’t help but agree. Wear your dog out every day. Try buying or making your own puzzle toys. Teach your dog a new trick or skill a couple of times a week, reinforcing old skills daily. We had an Australian Shepherd who dug holes all over our backyard. I was a busy mom and didn’t spend enough time training her and playing with her. So we had holes. And chewed up door frames. She also didn’t get enough treats.

Treats like a Center Bone from Jones Natural Chews! Pop over to Life With Beagle and read about busting boredom with bones. Lulu and Jasmine are giving some lucky dog their very own Center Bone from Jones.

All natural center bone for dogs
Chewy especially loves bones. The all natural Center Bone from Jones is one of his favorites.

And here on this blog, we’re giving some lucky dog their own Heartbreakers, pork heart strips to make your dog smile.
