Happy Funny Bone Monday! Today’s funny videos revolve around cute sleepy pets. But first! There’s at least one open Jones Natural Chews treat giveaway that you’ll want to enter! Keep the Tail Wagging’s link will open in a separate window.
On to cute sleepy pets! Check out Frank the Dachshund:
Is that not the cutest thing ever? Cuter still is this cat:
And you know how dogs chase bunnies in their sleep?
Yeah. Hamsters do it, too. How adorable is that? Almost as adorable as this Bulldog puppy.
And last, because we’ll have Corgis helping us celebrate the blogiversary:
*SQUEEEEE* Cute sleepy pets has been a fun post. I have cute sleepy pets of my own, you know, as I’m sure you do.
A quick word on Flash – he’s been on horse pill sized antibiotics since Thursday. Using the Lamb Lung Puffs to get them down his throat has been amazing. He’s swallowed every single pill- twice a day for four days – without a fight. I just make sure to give him a couple of broken up pieces of Lamb Lung Puff as a reward for sit, down, then up before slipping in the pill. Then another treat for good measure. It’s a beautiful thing. Dropping the pill in while his head is tilted upward for the Up command is best, but Sit is good, too.
He still doesn’t seem to be hurting. His appetite is fine. I’ll take any advice y’all can give about post-surgery with a 50 pound dog. Flash goes in first thing tomorrow morning to have the tumor removed and will spend three days in the hospital. My biggest concern is actually his sister.
Patches has never been separated from Flash for more than a few hours. Ever. In their 12 years of life, we’ve had them nine. They’re always together. I guess this will be a test. For a long time I’ve worried about one of them passing before the other and how the other would handle it. It’s partly why we got Chewy, to keep the remaining dog from mourning too deeply and slipping away too early. Any advice in that way is appreciated, too.
Don’t forget, on your way out, to pop over to Kimberly’s blog to enter the treat giveaway. Oh! And please, subscribe to this blog? You should see a button on the left, up a bit. That way you won’t miss fun treat giveaways and cute sleepy pet videos. 🙂
Until I write again …
