Beef Ligament for Good Dogs
Good dogs … your dog is a good dog, right? My dogs aren’t. Well, sometimes they are. But quite often they’re bad dogs. Yesterday, for example, Chewy snuck in my room and peed on my bed. Bad dog. Does he get a beef ligament, or Strap Stick? Noooo. But is that fair to him?

Actually, if he’d had a Strap Stick from Jones Natural Chews to gnaw on, myabe he wouldn’t have weaseled his way into my room. No offense to any weasles out there. But the Strap Stick, even the small one, is a great gnawing treat for a lap dog like Chewy. It would probably keep him busy for an hour, this baked beef ligament. I know it would keep his brother, Gadget, busy for days, that tiny mouth of his.
What Does a Good Dog Look Like?
What does a good dog look like? I’m sure there are good dogs all around you. Do you have a dog? Look at it. That’s what a good dog looks like. If you’re looking at your dog thinking, “She’s dead wrong. That’s a bad dog,” then we need to have a little talk. Give me your address. I’m coming over. In the meantime (because I’m probably not really coming to your house), it’ll help your dog to be a good dog if you give it the Strap Stick from Jones Natural Chews, our single ingredient, all natural beef ligament chew.

This yummy beef treat is baked to perfection. It’s tough to chew, making it the ideal treat if you want to sneak out of the house without your dog noticing. “Mommy’s not going anywhere, honey. You just chew on that Strap Stick while I read my magazine. And sip some coffee. And slip out the door …”
Labeling a dog bad is often unjust on our part. Much like children, bad dogs are bored dogs. Or poorly trained dogs. Or dogs which aren’t getting enough exercise. While the Strap Stick is only going to exercise your dog’s jaws, it will help with the boredom. The rest is up to you. Train your dog. A new trick each week, while still working on the tricks it already knows, is good. Walking your dog half an hour once or twice a day is good. Playing a rousing game of fetch, or Frisbee, or tug daily is good. Giving your dog a new skill is great – find an agility class near you, or flyball, or nose work (see Emma’s blog to learn more about nose work). Your dog is a good dog. If it’s not acting like one, there’s a good dog inside it waiting to be revealed.
Giveaway
How does our beef ligament, the Strap Stick, help your dog be good? Because it’s a high quality chew, your dog will want it. Because it’s ligament, it’s tough to chew for most dogs. In positive training, high value treats are a precious commodity. You could use it as a reward while training. You could use it to buy a few precious moments of peace and quiet. Like LEGOS for kids. Quiet time for mommy.
And how do you get your paws on the Strap Stick? Well, they’re still pretty new, but I’d definitely ask your local Jones carrier to order them, if they haven’t already. And if you can’t find Jones Natural Chews near you (here’s a handy locator), then I know they’re available at Natural Dog Treat Shop online. Your other option, and it’s always a good one, is to enter our giveaway! Simply click this sentence, leave a comment on the post which will pop up, then click the box and click I commented. Easy. Doing the other stuff in that box adds more points, which is good for you. And for your dog. You want that. Your dog wants that. Because ultimately? You do have a good dog. And your dog deserves Jones Natural Chews.
Spreading the good chews …
