It’s a This’nThat Thursday, where we catch up on all the little things which don’t merit their own posts. Or a Barks and Bytes day, since we’re joining the blog hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like a Dog. Ready? It’s all things natural, naturally.
That wonderful new soap from Eco Natural Soaps? I do like it. My skin is soft and I’m not itching. Except where the mosquitoes have been attacking (there’s tea tree oil for that). And good news! If you like natural bar soaps, Eco Natural is having a sale this weekend to honor our veterans. In honor of our veterans, and because I love good soap, I’m sharing the coupon code with you all: Memorial. Enjoy!
Did you know that some cats like Jones Natural Chews? I’m told that some cats really like the Beef Liver Taffy. Understandable, since it’s a pungent, soft chew. And Emma the GBGV says her cat-bro Bert tore into a pork bone she brought back from the Jones booth at Blog Paws. But I got photographic PROOF that some cats like Jones chews!
Yessirree Bob! I took bones and Pig Ears to a friend’s Australian Shepherd yesterday. Her new cat, Liam (I call him Qui Gon Jinn), took over the nomming as soon as the dog heard a bone hit the floor a few feet away.
The dog came back for the ear and chewed it up, but Liam had a few glorious seconds of licking and nibbling the pork fat that is a Pig Ear from Jones. I’m told that Liam shows a lot of dog behavior in general, so this probably shouldn’t have been a surprise.
My sister is coming for a visit. She and her family. Do y’all remember my wee niece?
I haven’t seen her since she was two weeks old, last October, so I’m pretty darn excited. And her big brother, my favorite nephew:
Y’all, I’m going to do my best to photograph the boy eating a piece of Jones Beef Liver Taffy. Shh! Don’t tell my sister. Maybe my boy will eat a piece to show him how.
Last bit of catch up, I’m prepping for Pittsburgh. Who lives near Pittsburgh? There’s a big pet expo there the 28th of June and it’s free admission. Jones won’t be there, but I’m scoping it out for them. And hanging out with the mama of this sweet dog:
Karen breeds French Bulldogs (y’all want to click on that link for the cutest puppy photos EVER). She has four children, three of whom mirror my children in age. Our parenting philosophies are similar. And I’m heading her way to chill, as well as to experience the Steel City Pet Expo in all its glory. So if you’re near Pittsburgh in late June and want to connect, drop me a line! I’d love to meet you in the fur that weekend.
And that’s it! Y’all pop around and visit the other blogs in the hop. I love a good blog hop. And my dogs love a good Jones chew. Your dogs will, too. In fact, it will make them smile.
Until I write again …
