February is nearly over and I don’t feel like I’ve talked enough about the Bully Bone or the Braided Bully. I love them! Do you know why I love these treats? Because they make dogs smile! C’mon – you knew I was going to say that …
We love Jessie, the first dog to try these all natural, grown and made in the USA treats. She was happy to have them and protected her Bully Bone from a distance. Good dog. Don’t let anyone take your bone. That’s a life truth right there.
Jessie was a gracious creature, eating her Bully Bone right away, not waiting for pets or anything. She knew what I needed – a taste tester to make sure the treats were good. Thank you, Jessie. Aussies are all business.
And there was Shruiken (I just know I misspelled that), the dog on a mission when I brought over the Braided Bully. There are two other dogs in his house, but this treat was HIS. Undeniably. Don’t get between this dog and a Jones chew.
We didn’t say a thing. You keep chewing that Braided Bully.
February is such a short month. I’m looking back through photos wondering where all the dogs went. Shruiken’s siblings shared in the Bully love, true.
And there’s …
All in all, it’s been a fun month treating dogs. And I’m super excited about the coming month and treats. You’ll just have to wait and see what’s on tap for March.
Today being This’n’That Thursday (is too), I feel justified in showing you more photos of my little Wookie, Chewy.
He’s such an alert little fella. And he sleeps hard at night. Smashed up against my leg or hip. Until five AM this morning, when he started drifting. Up to my shoulder. Down to my thigh. On my pillow. It finally registered in my foggy brain that he needed to pee, so I took all the dogs out at 5:45. And he did. No whining or whimpering. No peeing on the floor. Just wandering up and down the bed to let me know he needed something. What a good dog.
The next question is, does he like the Hunny? Chewy is, after all, the Hunny’s dog. I’m sure y’all know that, my being home most of the day, Chewy is going to gravitate toward me. But I’ve left home a couple of nights this week just so Hunny could spend time with his new baby without the lure of the mama.
It seems to be working. He’s warming up to Hunny and playing with him. Hunny puts the Knuckle Bone in the bed at night and plays with Chewy. They’re bonding. Hunny is head over heels in love.
More on the continuing saga of Chewy later. Suffice it to say, we love him. Flash and Patches tolerate him. And the story will unfold at it’s own pace.
Until I write again …
