In 1970 Robert L Jones founded this company as a small meat market with a smokehouse to provide custom butchering for local farmers.

The best cuts of meat also produced the best bones and word traveled fast that Jones was the place to go for naturally baked pet treats. Over the years, Jones Natural Chews has carefully developed several types and sizes of chews and treats for all size dogs and all types of chewers.

Six generations of expertise in the meat industry have proven to be a valuable asset to Jones Natural Chews. The Jones family takes pride in the consistency and quality of their natural, healthy pet treats made from animal products supplied by USDA inspected plants. All products are developed with careful testing for moisture levels, bacteria control, and maximum shelf life.

Of course, we also have a crew of several different types of dogs ranging from four pounds to one hundred ten pound sizes.  They are the true product testers.  In loving memory of our testers who lived long happy lives:  Elmo, Bear, Mattilda, Midget, and Buster.  Lots of thanks and love to our current testers Gus, Bandit, Sam, Onyx, Lady, Samson, and Buster B.
